In-game Admin

Firstly those with admin have in-game admin. The easiest way to kick or ban is just like bf2. Use global or team chat and type !kick ### Reason !ban ### Reason e.g. !kick MonkeyFiend Being a noob You can use partial names too e.g. !ban Mon (if there are 2 people that match the pattern e.g. Monkey and Monster then no action will be taken). It's not case sensitive.

A list of other commands can be found using the command !admin - you can either use the menu to select items or use the menu name direct e.g. !slay monkey

If someone has a "cool" name with weird characters, open up the console and type status, it will give you a list of everyone in game, drag the mouse over the desired miscreant and press CTRL-C to copy their cool name then back in chat CTRL-V to paste the name. You can also use the web admin to kick/ban this person

Web Admin - Kicking

The Kicks/bans page can be accessed through

The main use of the web admin is to make a space for yourself by kicking someone. Login to the bans.sneakymonkeys.com portal. Select your desired server (it will show you the players on that server) right click on you victim of choice and select kick. (you can also send private messages to them)

Web Admin - Out of game bans

Probably won't need this too much, as ingame kicks/bans will be the main port of call but...The web admin can be used to kick or ban people when either you or them are not in game e.g. if someone needs a restrospective ban

The Kicks/bans page can be accessed through http://bans.sneakymonkeys.com

The submit a ban section can be used by public to report players when no admin is online... I'll review any bans of this type. Admins don't need to use this section.
Once logged in an admin has a black menu below the main menu , in here click "bans" and select "add ban" fill in their details if known. Now the main point here is you need a steamID (a bit like a PB-guid for those from BF2)

if you have played in a game with a person, steam stores the ID's of people you have recently played with. Bring up firends in steam > player tab > player list - recent games > click on view their profile... this gives us a web link that looks like this: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197970682813
In the bans page, there's a section at the bottom that lets you convert this community ID into a steam ID called "Community Profile to SteamID" everyones ID has the 765611 part at the beginning so just copy the remaining into the box: in my case the 97970682813 part.

Click GO this gives you my steam ID: STEAM_0:1:5208542 which could then be entered into a ban. A ban applied in this way is applied to all servers.
