well its been a long time since ive been on here or did any type of gaming but i decided to buy a new power supply, card and a nice shiny new 23" dell ultra sharp monitor to get back on the scene. i know BF2 is a dinosaur now but i still love it and am quite annoyed to find that there is no servers anymore
 or am i using the wrong patch now ? or is it just a case of everyone playing BFBC2 ?.Rgds Ross |

We would be playing BC2, but most are a bit ragey with it at the moment. plus the lastest patch has been delayed for over a month which was meant to really improve some key issues.
We actually play allsorts though, jump on TS to catch up

All go back to BF2
.Im just going to pop out just now and get BFBC2 and give a try. im a big fan of all the older games so If i dont like BFBC2 im going to start playing C+C Generals again

you will need to make sure you are using the 1.5 patch for bf2

Well went a got BFBC2 and must say i don't think ill be playing that very often. Game feels crap imo, i know ive only played it for like an hour or 2 but it has not left me wanting to play it any longer.

yeah, lack of prone was an issue for me, although I never proned much (lower elevation makes noobtubing harder
 ) it still seems odd nt to have it.It's certainly no BF2, but it was an improvement over BF:BC1 console port. The game can be good, but 9/10 dodgy hit reg, broken knife etc., just ruin games. As such a s lot of players here are awaiting for the patch (that should have been out a month ago) to be released. Welcome back to the website btw

i play almost every night now that i have fixed my lagging issues. its a great game so far for me. you just have to play a little more to get used to it.

Aye, dont give up up on it until you've played alongside the rest of us! Its an arse at times, especially those fucking snipers, but eventually you get a good run of luck, and everything feels so incredible.
