Weekly Event! Options

Hi all!

I am proud to announce a new feature on our =SM= server that is the creation of a Weekly Event in which we will play maps and modes that are not normally played in map rotation like random weapons, fisting FFA at tavern, LTS, CTF....

This event will be done Sundays at 20:00h (GMT+1), it will be fixed time and date, but if some week due to complications we have not been able to prepare it, or it is better to do it at another time, it would be announced by this post.
Event will begin after the last map of the rotation ends after 8:00 p.m., this may be at 8:00 p.m. or, if a map has started at 7:59 p.m. the event will begin when that map ends.

Each week we will announce here which will be the maps and modes (FFA, LTS, KOTH...) to play that week. We accept ideas and requests, up to 2 or 3 days before the event and it will be done in this post, which we will decide later if they
are suitable for our server and its players. Event for all players, server won't have password. Rules of everyday.

We could use the public chat of the SneakyMonkeys.com group on Steam to announce, that we have decided the maps we are going to play that week and it has already been published in the forum.
It is not allowed to ask or vote other maps during the event.

All this can be considered as experimental:
Weekly Event will be played while 10 weeks that can be considered as first season of the Event.
Afer this weeks we should have a rest to make the stats of all season and think about the next.

The admins team =SM= we hope that this Weekly Event will make you enjoy and have a good time together, I will try to make recordings of the event for those who have not been able to assist and want to see it or for those who have
played it and want to enjoy the match again. We are going to save the better players stats, post it here and update it each week, trying make it funnier.

Hey everyone!
I'm here to announce how will work the first "=SM= Weekly Event" at our server.

About when is going to start the event, we are going to try to do it all Sundays at 20:00h (GMT+1) at SneakyMonkeys server, of course.
Event will begin after the last map of the rotation ends after 8:00 p.m., this may be at 8:00 p.m. or, if a map has started at 7:59 p.m. the event will begin when that map ends.


This Sunday (17/03/2019) maps are, in this order:

1. AOCTO-Fallencity
2. AOCLTS-Moor
3. AOCKOTH-Arena

We are talking about note the stats of better players at each map and use this post to save that stats and update it each week, trying make it funnier.

This is the first week, so maybe it's short or we'll have problems, be considered and give us time to organize it more times to learn how to do it better and more fun.
All of u can post here your opinions, ideas or any feedback, that will help to improve the event.

We can try one evening for test if the map work and if player like it, we can add it on the event cycle.

All players initially start out on one team except for one player who is on the undead team. Whenever a player on the living team is slain, they will automatically join the undead team. Living players start out with only slings but weapons and armor will spawn at random locations for them to find. The game continues until there are no players remaining on the living team or enough time has passed since the last slaying.

Note: This is NOT a mod. It is a custom map and it does not require any mods to run.

Halloween event was a blast long as it lasted.
