I done got banned! Options

I, Mr. Golden Sun was banned by =SM=Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave yesterday night.
Yes, I admit I was a bit of a dick towards Robin by asking him why he gets so pissy when somebody tells a mildly offensive joke. But I didnt know that I could be banned because of that.
But to be fair, It doesnt say anything about being an ass in the main rules (And if you ask me it should). I guess what I'm trying to say is:
Gee wilikers, mister. I sure am sorry for breaking the rules unknowingly. I sure will change my dulcet tones, my choice in vernacular
and my particular method of articulation. I sure plum done gone daggone did it this time. But I hope you'll forgive me and unban me.

I made a few mistakes yesterday, while this was happening.

Let's start where it started, at least for me. You asked me if I'm ok if you tell an offensive joke. I told you that it depends and it shouldn't be racist or homophobic. I was about to add that it's better not to tell it here, but it was too late. You already told your "joke". And it was racist. And you knew what the consequences were, because you said something like "please just 1 hour ban".

My first mistake was, that instead of banning you I just warned you. My bad.

Next you with some help from your friend Adam Racewarski, who I earlier asked to change his highly offensive and racist name (I see he switched back to it) started to argue with me that it's OK to have racist jokes on this server and we shouldn't get so easily offended and generally trolling. This provoked another player to use a racist term and I banned him. I should've banned you two as well. My bad.

Then you continued to troll me and other players, so I muted you for a few minutes. So "Adam" started writing the messages that you communicated to him. There was some improvement and I unmuted you to see if you've got my message, but no. You continued to troll and try to get a rise out of me and other players. I had enough with this and I banned both of you. But only for 200 hours.

And you come here and make it sound as if I banned you just because you trolled me a bit? And we should explicitly tell you not to be an ass? So, I guess it's our fault then.

MonkeyFiend, can we fix at least my last mistake and make the two bans permanent? I think I know how to do it, but with restarting the server.
