Problem - can't connect to server - Duplicate UID Options

The game was stuck, so I open the console and typed reconnect.
Since then every time I try to connect to that server - the Sneakymonkeys 64p server - I get the error

Connection lost - Duplicate uid.

I rebooted my pc but no help came from that.
How can I fix this problem?

I'm having the same problem since yesterday night! From what I understand it requires a server restart so I would greatly appreciate it if you took the time to help me out with that!! Until then, I will patiently wait while sharpening my arrows! (Yes, archers are cancer, but maas are worse )

It'd be cool if you could leave your Steam link profile just in case a restart doesn't fix the issue alone

Most likely we'll have to restart the server to fix this. We try to do that when there are few people playing, so it may take a bit.

You can also try to restart your steam client. I saw various ppl advise that, though nobody reporting if that was working or not, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Incidentally, the online players list on http://news.sneakymonkeys.com/ shows one player without name and with score 0. I joined the game to check, but couldn't see the problem from within. So my guess is this is the "phantom" player with your UID.
