You ban me for willymofs racist language ? Options

what the fuck just happened ? willymofs said something about niggers playing basketball and you guys ban me instead of him because he left the game ? What the hell ?

this is willymofs.

I was banned yesterday from the SM chivalry server. Today I tried connecting and it said I was still banned so I came here to the forums to try to find out some information, how long the ban was and how to get unbanned. After some browsing I found the rules (and the specific section about racism) and I found this thread so I decided to post a reply here instead of making a new topic.


Trying to follow the format:


Date: yesterday 13/11/2018
Time: I think +/- 18h00 GMT+1 (Brussels time) or a bit later, so that's 17h00 GMT...?
Steam: I don't have a profile (other than willymofs)
Admin: autoban
Additional information: =SM= Ash Williams was present
Situation: It's not even a long story but I'll try to keep it as short as possible. =SM= Ash Williams typed at one point a line in chat from a song by Offspring, I replied by typing some more lines of the song "it's late at night, she knocks on my door, drunk again and looking to scre, I know i should say no but, it's kinda hard when she's ready to go" (Self Esteem - Offspring), I think =SM=Ash William replied great song or something in that matter. He named other 90s songs.

At one point he said in chat "Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn" to which i replied "Run DMC", i tried to remember the next line of the song but couldn't find it so I typed a line from the song I did remember at that time and is was (quote) "I have a color tv so I can see the niggas playing basketball" the next second I got the loading screen and the message I was banned from the current gaming session.

I think =SM= Ash Williams will be able to confirm my story.

I was not my intention to make a racial statement or anything of that kind.
I read here in the racism specific rules section that racial words are not allowed, even in quotes. I have to admit I never read the full rules written here on the site before playing on your server so I didn't know that.

My apologies for breaking the rules. I just wanted to give you guys some context about why I used that word. I will see you guys in a few days (and be little more productive in that time by playing a less yeeeey).
