here's my frames per second results in game BF2 using Fraps as a benchmark , maxed out but with antialiasing turned off.

yeah, it should help a bit. The default setting is 100ms so the improvement of 25-35ms isn't too great but it may be worth it.
Since you'll probably play a mix of UK (20-40ms?) and US (125-135ms?) servers rather than changing the config files each time you can do this as a console command. In game, bring up the console (usually the ~ or ` key) and type in: "SettingsManager.floatSet GSDefaultLatencyCompensation 0.130" (without the " ![]() That way you can adjust it each time you go on a server with different pings.
