Can anyone recommend me a good, not to expensive soundcard that will work with Vista. I only use on board audio and recently realised how balls it actually is. I currently have 7.1 with the onboard but never actually use the speakers to stem off wife rage at bass boom.

Persoanally I'd start looking at the range of x-fi's and audigies
asus xonar's work well but you're paying for prettiness rather than substance There's a variety of x-fi's for example starting cheap and going very expensive. If you've got deep pockets I recommend the Razer Barracuda (7.1 soundcard & 7.1 headset package) - I've had one for a while and can't fault it -------------------- ![]() |
