Can anyone recommend me a good, not to expensive soundcard that will work with Vista. I only use on board audio and recently realised how balls it actually is. I currently have 7.1 with the onboard but never actually use the speakers to stem off wife rage at bass boom.

whoa. the asus xonar's aren't that fantastic.. atleast my model isn't. i would be careful listening to recommendations. hmmm I can't remember if I have the DX or the D1, (will check when I get home), but there is still, after 2 years, currently no drivers that fix my speaker channels RANDOMLY SWAPPING. sometimes my left front is my left back. sometimes the left back is the front right. sometimes they are what they are supposed to be. I've always owned Creative sound cards and never really had any problems. Last upgrade time I switched the Asus and totally regret it.
anyways thats my experience... oh and the razer barracuda's are pretty sweet! |
