2 years ago on an unusually sunny July afternoon, a dark event occurred; a clan of unimaginable noobiness was formed :O

I joined my first clan in '98 for UT (SWF then SiN clans), then Joint Ops:NEF,ISK to BF2:TKF,SAF, then after SAF disbanded I (now with Fox) joined FS2. Thankfully that aweful FS2 clan has gone, the leader jailed for smuggling ammunition and drugs (!), but the alleged server security they lied about and the constant cheats prompted us to consider forming a clan.

So with various silly naming suggestions, the sneakymonkeys were born.. the site was based on a template I worked on for TKF a long time ago but improved, various developments

sites were put up then removed, finally the website and 32 Karkand BF2 server started in their current forums on the 28th August

The past 2 years have been good - some of the stuff (the bf2 server security) has been hard work and long hours, but overall has been worth it. We come across many good people and have had our fair share of asshats in these 2 years.

Ultimately the clan is still here, has a veriety of members in both bf2 , l4d or both and shows no signs of faltering. SO I'd like to thank all those (both clan members and public) who've helped us over these years

Live many 2 year olds, the clan has proved to be attention seeking, troublesome, costly (over £900 in bf2 servers alone :O) and has the perpensity to produce more shit than you'd expect. That being said it's also worked out well and I hope has provided people with fun in as cheat free an environment as possible - which was our original aim.

I though't I'd have a look through the users lists at people past and present in the history of the clan. Apologies in advance if I've missed people out, but here comes a list of notable people over the 2 years (in chronological order)



MonkeyFiend - began this ragtag amateurish operation. For this I owe you all my apologies
foxx_in_socks - the other partner in this heinous crime
macknm1945 - left FS2 to join (which caused FS2 to hate us), left us to join the wonkas
kermit - bloody hell, didn't know you'd registered back in 2007. An old TKF/SAF admin and now SM member :)
SovsOrDie - A bad ass sniper. Caused the first formal clan vote for FF on clays. Left the clan after vote failed
Eggmonks - Or Grok from L4D :D
SAF.Simon - Another old SAF member that dropped by :)
PhantomSpirit - the next member to join, phantomspirit or phantomspirt including the bf2 spelling mistake.. still lurking and looking to get online with a new computer and/or motorbike :P (Largest single donation in clan history- £60!)
JAGGED - Leader of the Dirtyheroes and generally nice guy
dumdum71 - another SM member, the mighty dumdum. Usually playing support when not trying to eat his microphone in teamspeak :D
Kungmedstorpung - kungmedstorpung ("King With Big Balls") was the next to join us, suspect he's still lurking about here somewhere :s
Skutaboy - a friend of dumdum and still playing with the US based Fart clan
Legendz15 - was R6, prone to spout some crazy crazy stories
dolcoath - was one of the wonkas, one of the few that isn't an asshat.
SAF.RyanUK™ - Another one of the SAF squad
ManlyHour - Another one of our older members, left to join R6 and still playing bf2 :)
Frtedcrilly - 'suck my plums' a well remembered phrase uttered from ted, last seen with the dirty heroes
raile - shemailefaile etc., Allegedly 'leading' the R6 clan and playing arma/l4d :)
RCCossie - another old regular who helped get the server popular
twonuk,Harkinfell, McJaffa, Sam84, artofsurvival - the rest of the R6 rabble joins and made a formidable squad in BF2 - having the audacity to actually work as a team.
Lawpf2001 - next joins lawpf2001 to the SM clan and is still here today. An old FS2 member if I remember correctly.. shame on us both :P
NIN-Sponk, NiN-TZB, NIN-YoU - the NIN family joined and helped considerably with getting our server going
Crash Bandikoot - a longtime regular and all round good frenchman
Warduk - most anonoying hoppity sniper git from R6, also possibly the most satisfying person to shock-paddle
Magik5 - The ever controvertial and all round pain the arse magik5 who caused no end of grief with his own ineptable brand of charm :P
Magik6 - The less controvertial and less pain in the arse magik6. I still suspect the photoshopped (black & white) image that was originally sent and displayed on the front page wasn't magik6, but I can't work out who it may have been. I may be wrong though
GoochTyke - Goochtyke joins... we're playing BF2 again.. Come back!!
PhaxeNor - Another old SAF guy, think he's in the real army now?
m33amkii - Next to join was m33amkii, vanished without a trace sometime ago.
T80 - a german server regular and often on the receiving end of cheating allegations
Uk_Hornet - Joined then dissappeared
holzbit - One of the nicer member of the German CCH clan
H3lim4n - Computer nerd :D - not playing anymore but still online from time to time
Christian0809 - Another of the CCH that was often accused of cheating
Tousty - one of the nicer members of CCH
CCCCC - or Rule, hard german player nadespamming medic. Didn't say much but was a server regular
gunners11 - THE legendary gunners. What more can I say here? Deadly with grenades, his teammates are never safe :)
Chester - Asshat part-time member of CCH, was last seen experiencing problems with his email and broadband account
jivebunny101 - leader of the wonkas
kinglufc - another of the r6 lot, not seen him online for a long time
X-pieter-X - once regular on the server and website, his language took some working out
Robthemerciless - Friend of the magiks, but we tried not to hold that against him
sergeantsheite - Gunners' mate from GSF
OneShotKill - Oneshot was a regular on the server, we made exception to the 16+ rules at the time for him to join
Knoxville - If I recall correctly the leader of CCH
ElCo21 - From the FART clan
Beechy365 - The angriest SM member ever, being on TS with beachy in a bad round was liable to make your ears bleed :D
robbiemartz1983 - guy was banned for aimbotting, then asked to join
Mikeypuff - very good player, considered joining but then decided on candys (made sense, was in it more for the competition)
easynow - The R6 rabble continue to appear :)
fido77 - Representin' the US contingent of SM is the big dog himself
Pegasus(UK) - a long time server regular
lilad1111 - Lilad was next to join the growing SM clan, be careful not to TK him he does not know how to forgive :P
KERCHINK - Another regular on the BF2 server
*=IMA=*Greaver - still see greaver around, still being accused of cheating a lot
Apple94 - Apple joins and aside from breaking his BF2 cd can now once again be seen on the BF2 server at odd times of day :P
thc6 - We still see this guy on L4D - think he's a friend of Fido
ooiz - It's gunners again!
SmallAlice - The first spambot account that got through :(
Jearik - an SM member and still playing L4D with us, although I never seem to be in a game with him :S
Matrix_Geaf - a long time server regular who finally dropped by to say by when the original server went
Cabletwitch - you may ask yourself what kind of person wears boxer shorts on their head. Here you have your answer
CrapZ - short-term member, joined played for a bit then has not been seen since
granitebomb - It's gunners again!
Cobolt - the pokemon playing zombie fanatic :O
HYPOBOXER - next came Hypo winner of the best facial hair in the clan award :D
Poggus - we see poggus on L4D still :)
IofurWolfsbane - Wolf is one of our newer members has fit in nicely with this roudy rabble of buffoons
sly_rabbit - SM member and brother of Fox but we won't hold that against him
MANOWAR33 - It's gunners again

kartious - new on the scene and has asked to join :)

If I've missed anyone (especially clan members!) then apologies, I'm writing this on a blackberry after many coffee so to say my mind is fragmented and wandering is an understatement :P

In celebration I've made a post in the tournament section: it's about a L4D tournament surprisingly enough.

Let see if I can follow this post up in another 2 years :O
