Depends on the mute.

an admin mute typically lasts the duration of a match

a global mute (from official admins) can be permanent (or for a fixed duration) on all official servers and any 3rd party servers that stream their bans and opt in to this list.

Farmer can also mute anyone for any duration, but never has.
