up to date details on http://sneakymonkeys.com/admin.txt

You can connect to the =SM= servers in L4D and L4D2 by opening the console and typing:

***** CLAN SERVERS *****

L4D
Server #1 mm_dedicated_force_servers 83.142.49.20:28001
Server #2 mm_dedicated_force_servers 83.142.49.20:28002

L4D2
Server #3 mm_dedicated_force_servers 83.142.49.20:28003
Server #4 mm_dedicated_force_servers 83.142.49.20:28004

*** Public =SM= Servers *****

L4D1:
Server #10: mm_dedicated_force_servers 217.163.31.65:27015
Server #11: mm_dedicated_force_servers 217.163.30.170:27015

L4D2:
Server #12: mm_dedicated_force_servers 212.187.208.113:27015
Server #13: mm_dedicated_force_servers 217.163.31.59:27015

Note: to use console in L4D2, enable in the options, you should then open the console and enter the commands before creating a lobby

In game Commands

The most useful commands you'll use are, in chat:

!admin (bringing up various admin options which you can vote using 1,2,3, etc., keys)
!kick <reason> e.g. !kick monkey for being great. Obviously if 2 people have the word monkey in their names the kick will fail. If you want to kick someone with a l33t gibberish name, you can type status in the console and copy/paste their name after the !kick command

!stuck : this command will unstick a player in l4d2. Can be used twice per map

The following commands are used in the console e.g. "sm_mute cobolt" - you can also use them in game in chat, replacing the "sm_" with "!" e.g. !mute cobolt

sm_admin Displays the admin menu.
sm_ban <#userid|name> <minutes|0> [reason] Bans a client.

CEVO Configs

CEVO allows more competetive changes to L4D, used in clan tournaments.

- Before a match starts, "sm_execcfg cevo.cfg" via rcon or the server console.
- After a match is over, "sm_execcfg cevo_off.cfg" to disable the config.

Cevo Commands:

(The following commands are all in chat. The commands will only work if the CEVO configs are enabled (as above)

During the ready-up period:

* !ready - change player status to "readied up" (when all 8 players are ready the round will start)
* !unready - change player status to "not ready" (if going AFK or want to abort live countdown)

(=SM= Admin-only commands)

* !passvote - forces acceptance of vote
* !veto - cancels current vote
* !forcestart - force starts the match even if not all players are ready
* !abort - aborts an impending live countdown (i.e. if the match was forcefully started)
* !restartround - manually restarts a round one-time, do this twice so the teams are swapped back to normal (does not swap score! only swaps teams!)
* !restartmap - rcon changelevels to the current map (and resets the team scores to 0)
* !swap <player1> [player2] ... [playerN] - swap all listed players to opposite teams
* !swapmenu <player1> [player2] ... [playerN] <teamnum> - display a menu of players to do !swap
* !swapto <player1> [player2] ... [playerN] <teamnum> - swap all listed players to teamnum (1,2,3)
* !swapteams - swaps the infected and survivor teams
* !swapscores - swaps the campaign scores
* !resetscores - resets the campaign scores to 0/0

Commands at any time:

* !reready - ask for a ready-up period at the end of the first half (usually the second half will be live right away)
* !printscores - prints the scores for each previously played map, and the campaign scores
* !scores - displays the scores for each previously played map, and the campaign scores

CVARs

Basically there are thousands of settings in L4D controlled by Cvars, many are locked down e.g. "sv_Cheats 1" - would suck if anyone could use it tongue.gif All admins have the power to change game cvars by using the sm_cvar command e.g. you could manually adjust the likelyhood of witches or tanks:

sm_cvar versus_tank_chance_intro 0
sm_cvar versus_tank_chance_finale 0
sm_cvar versus_tank_chance 1
sm_cvar versus_witch_chance_intro 1
sm_cvar versus_witch_chance_finale 1
sm_cvar versus_witch_chance 1

Competetive Plugin

* Replace all Medkits with Pills - This will remove all medkits in the game, including safehouse, nm3 ambulance, and finale kits, and replace them with pills.
* Add 4 kits in finale- This will make sure there are 4 medkits by the finale button.
* Disable Autoshotguns and Rifles - Replaces Autoshotguns with Pump Shotguns, and Rifles with Uzis
* Enable Autoshotguns and Rifles in Finales - Allows you to control how many AS/AR spawn in finales.
* Stop Rushing/"Pre-Mollying" AI Tanks - The AI tank is frozen in place before a player gets control, And after 2 seconds of control, you will be extinguished and given full health. Giving you 2 seconds to run out of a pre-molly.
* Adds pausing to L4D - Hate it when a player disconnects or otherwise the game is unexpectedly stopped mid game? Now if both teams agree, the game can be paused until they are ready to play again. This is as close I can get to stopping all activity during the pause, but it could be exploited still by a "convenient pause" so both teams must agree.
