Hey guys,
Just tried to get into the chivalry server this morning and i've been banned, i'm not sure what for. I was wondering if / how i could find out why and if it's temporary etc. The only thing i can think of is i've been having some lag issues with my crappy net and have abandoned a few matches, but i apologise if i've violated some other rules (all unintentional). I'm not sure if it counts for anything but I do really enjoy your server, pretty much the only one i play so i'm genuinely sorry if i've broken some rules. cheers edit: heres my steam; http://steamcommunity.com/id/jackpidduck |

There is no ban record for your account.Are you sure that you are banned and you can't still log into SM servers ?
Maybe you got kicked because of afk to end of the match. --------------------  |

When i try to connect it says my IP is banned on this server, that's all i know.

Do you have someone in your house that is player of SM server as well ?
If you have, restart your router by turning on/off .It will solve your ip adress problem. ( if your ip adress is static there is nothing i can do about it, whoever got banned who were using your net, should make ban appeal and it should've lifted so you can play again) -------------------- |

I'll jump in here as we've also had problems with peering addresses from Sky broadband - the firewall auto banning some IPs for ddossing, but then the IP gets reallocated to other customers.
Can you confirm whereabouts in the UK (roughly of course you're from) as I can probably unban that range --------------------  |

Steelshanks when was this? Because that's definitely not the kind of player I am. I love the game for what it is and don't troll or grief, i was kind of excited to finally find a server with other regular players that play the game well and provide a good experience so i really feel i have to defend myself here and say it wasn't me doing those things (besides the face i never use knives haha).
also nobody else on my net plays pc so i'm the only possible player on SM servers. Monkeyfiend i live in Nottingham, thanks for the replies everyone. EDIT: just reset my router again and it seems to have fixed the problem! cheers guys, thanks Porsuk for the advice |

You were correct, The player was Hbomb. Who i believe got spanked for it anyway

I kicked someone off the catapult because they had just tk'd me and had 40% team damage. Maybe I got the wrong person but I definitely wasn't bullying people or kicking people off multiple times. I know there were people around there cata trolling and I've been mistaken as one of those people. I didn't even use a knife that game. |
