 Problem - can't connect to server - Duplicate UID |

The game was stuck, so I open the console and typed reconnect.
Since then every time I try to connect to that server - the Sneakymonkeys 64p server - I get the error Connection lost - Duplicate uid. I rebooted my pc but no help came from that. How can I fix this problem? Thanks in advance |

I googled a bit and it looks like a server-side problem (one such example). Perhaps Monkey will have to restart the server to fix this?

24h ago the problem was still there, now I joined the server without any problems Thanks a lot!

Hello there
I'm having the same problem - Connection lost - Duplicate UID. Do you restart the server on regular basis? I don't have that problem on the Free weekend version server. Cheers

I'm having the same problem since yesterday night! From what I understand it requires a server restart so I would greatly appreciate it if you took the time to help me out with that!! Until then, I will patiently wait while sharpening my arrows! (Yes, archers are cancer, but maas are worse

We try to do that when there are few people playing, so it may take a bit. You can also try to restart your steam client. I saw various ppl advise that, though nobody reporting if that was working or not, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Incidentally, the online players list on http://news.sneakymonkeys.com/ shows one player without name and with score 0. I joined the game to check, but couldn't see the problem from within. So my guess is this is the "phantom" player with your UID. |
