Hey guys, I know I haven't really been on much in the past few weeks but a friend of mine pointed this out to me, it's a free game being released in a few days by a group of devs from Valve, and it features an updated version of the Source engine that will launch with the game code publicly available (as well as an updated SDK, which is what I'm pretty interested in). The game itself looks pretty awesome to me, just a basic fun third person shoot-em-up, so, anyone up for a game?

wow had a quick offline game of this and was very impressed

game seems to have a story, and a well thought out coop play with each char having a determined roll, that is invaluable to the team

also it's incredibly smooth, or it might have bee n because it was in offline play, so still to test a multi

control system seems to work also, just needs a bit of practice to move around and remember to use combat rolling
