Hi guys,

So I just got banned from the 64 player server (the only server I play now) for what is apparently a racist term - (Nig Nog) - Firstly I typed it because it sounded funny "stupid nig nog archers" I think I said, I had no idea that was racist. Now so far I've never been kick voted form that server, I've always had good rapport with other plays, banter, jokes, brief friendly chats, because that's the player I am. Even if I say something to an archer like "f**king archers" I always add "jk, nice shot" to show I'm actually just playing around and I've never had a bad word from anyone. I don't argue, I don't start trouble, I don't team kill willingly, and there are players I genuinely like. I've always been a good sport, I don't rage quit, I don't even initiate kick bans against others, I just like to have a laugh, and on that server I genuinely do laugh, quite a lot at some of the things people say and do. Basically, now that I know it's a bad term I know never to say it again. I think a warning for players would be nice, in case they don't know. One strike not to use that word etc. Everything else I've ever said has been fun and funny, and it's a shame it's over because I didn't know (through my own ignorance I guess) that I'd said a racist term.

I hope we can at least discuss this, and if not, I hope I do get some response in return.

Edit: Just so it's on record I'm not racist, or prejudice, I'm a very open fun guy and I take offence to nothing either, so things like this don't occur ever. If it didn't matter to me I wouldn't have found a way to try and fix the problem.

Fair enough, I've lifted the ban. It's a term I've heard around a fair bit (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nig-nog)

Thanks

Now that I've looked it up, it is quite a widespread term. It's very much down to my own ignorance really, but thank you for taking the time to reply to me on this one.

It's really appreciated.
