ahhh, tron. can't believe i didn't even think of that one. the first movie to be made into a video game. or the other way around, can't remember. epic fx for its time.
=R6= Raile
woooooo, fido and i agree on something! wink.gif
fido77
whenever i watch an older movie from like the 80's or early 90's i wonder what it was that i liked about that movie then. movies have come a long way since then. just like games. remember the games we played on the atari 2600 and nes? lol. i can't even play those games now. we had to play some old pc games in class, they really sucked. laugh.gif
fido77
PUSH looks like it could be a good movie.
=R6= Raile
yeah but the REALLY good movies can stand up over time. same with the video games... every once in a while i'll fire up an emulator and play old-school games.. but only the really good ones biggrin.gif
Magik5
watched the mist over weekend to see what the fuss was about, not bad - ending wasnt as shocking as i expected, although it would have made more sense if they didnt have the cliche hollywood bit at the VERY end...
MonkeyFiend
Agreed with the 'very end' bit, its better to just turn it off about 30 seconds before the end tongue.gif

As for games, you can't beat Fantasy World Dizzy on an 8 foot projector screen tongue.gif

Although I did purely fail at goldenaxe :'(
fido77
i still like all the final fantasy games. especially the cutscenes.
Foxx_in_Socks
Hmm interesting lists of films,
mine goes a little like this...

Memoirs of a geisha
Naked Gun
Airplane
Lord of the Rings
Lord of the Flies (the original only)
Hellboy 1 and 2
Pans Labyrinth
Labyrinth (the one with David Bowie)
Death becomes her

wow wasnt aware my memory would fail me so,
this is all i could think of
=R6= Raile

Then I'd advise you never to watch 'Irreversible' ohmy.gif

I was planning on posting something witty about '2 girls, 1 cup' but don't want to risk it in work tongue.gif
=R6= Raile

liked the first one
two parts in the second one made me laugh.. slow-mo bit with the giant gingerbread man attacking the drawbridge, and that "cops" tv show bit... the rest was pretty crap

i think your just making up film names now...
MonkeyFiend
Technically since Bruce Wayne had not received a knighthood, he (or Batman alter-ego) can't be defined as a knight, therefore the film should be titled

"The Dark Business Entrepreneur"
fido77
or "the dark guy that has too much money and too much free time"
